Even then, he could delegate the recruiting. All I'm saying is that with him and possibly Petrino, we wouldn't really have to overhaul the roster to get their "type of players" in for them to be successful. He may be a disaster, who knows. Yes, I do remember his UCLA days, but that was a dumpster fire to begin with.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on that. Not too worried about it. If UT hired Chip Kelly, there would be another Schiano Sunday. Mattresses would burn all over Knoxville.

I ran across a rumor this morning of Penn State talking to Kelani Sitake. I actually think he is a great coach and seems to be a great person, as well. If CJH ever was to leave, I'd be in favor of that guy to represent our program.

I would understand the Schiano stuff if it was Brian Kelly, not so sure it would happen with Chip. He did win a Natty last year with OSU.

We can disagree, we're just having a civilized discussion about something that may never even have a chance to occur. Its all good.

Kelly is still tied up with LSU trying to get his full buyout. That might have something to do with it.

Yes, after reading all of the “brilliant posts” on VN pointing out the futility of UT continuing to employ him, CJH prayed on it, and will jump to the open “career pinnacle job” at PSU. 🙄
