Heupel expects the same

Scraps that had nearly 7,000 yards in 2 seasons at appy state , but go ahead and ignore reality if it supports your guru theory
Dude, he played Juco his first 2 years because literally nobody offered him a scholarship.

UCLA landed him after he balled out at App St, but I don't think there was much of a bidding war going on for him. UCLA didn't even give him a chance before dediding to get rid of him for Nico.

What reality is he ignoring?

If Nico hadn't taken off he would have never signed Aguillar so of course he wouldn't have started lol
My point exactly the fact he even thought Nico was the guy is a problem. He is an average qb as well. He was lucky he had to scramble and sign Joey last year.

That’s the flaw with signing high school quarterbacks. It’s a gamble paying unproven quarterbacks huge amounts of money straight out of high school

7,000 yards. Heupel didn’t make him.
He took a finished product and polished it up a bit.
Don’t care what the interest was in him, he had some skills and experience.

What makes me nervous with Heupel and his qb is the ones that have been the best have not been his first options. Hooker only played because Milton got hurt. Joey only played because Nico took off and he fell into our laps the last minute. Makes you wonder if possibly the wrong guy is starting.
This line has been beat to death , how can you be so sure the only reason Hooker played was injury to Milton? I trust coach Heupel more than any poster on this board to select the Qb that's fits his scheme.

That's laughable also, the tiresome line of Heupel can't coach up a Qb, that they all came here SEC ready, I call BS to that line of thinking.

Because that’s exactly how it played out. If you recall Milton was the starter and hooker only started playing once Milton got hurt…

Show me where it was said Heupel can’t coach up a QB!
I’m sure he can improve them like a lot of coaches can, but the line of him being some kind of QB whisperer guru is lacking evidence beyond Hooker,
Nico came in with sky is the limit potential and left barely serviceable, Joe left serviceable but that’s about it.
Joey was good when he got here and with a better team around him and better offense, And with Heupels coaching became real good,, But he wasn’t a scrub that Heupel turned into a star like some suggest.

I'm not going to search so many posts but,if you'll be honest, you seen them yourself. And even in your post you cast doubt on his Qb coaching ability. And yes I think Heupel is a lot better than most. Joey wasn't a finished product when he got here, Nico lead the vols ti a convincing win over Clemson in the Orange Bowl, then went to a team without a supporting cast. Hendon and Milton are both in the NFL.

Uh huh. Hooker threw a terrible interception on a game winning drive in that first game against Pitt

You comprehend poorly.
I don’t cast doubt on his ability. But none of your examples in any way support that he is a level above other SEC level QB coaches.
