I get that Heupel is a good offensive coach. He’s also been a player. Specifically a QB. What I think is the reasoning for our struggles is that Heupel forgets that he has 100 yrs of experience and knowledge of the game than our QBs.
He can coach the young QBs all he wants, but not every QB has Heupel’s skill set or thought process. Sometimes I wonder if he calls plays as if he’s the QB and not calling plays that makes sense for our QBs to comprehend. Heupel does better with experienced QBs who already has a few college games under their belt. Why not give Ryan Staub a chance?

Goodness, there must be some kind of random post generator that some posters use to start threads. How else can the idea for this be explained?

I've actually started to question if this site has become like those Tik Tocket and Facebookers and the Chinese have people sitting in a room just posting propaganda and rage baiting common sense Americans. Dang you XI!!!!!!

What makes me nervous with Heupel and his qb is the ones that have been the best have not been his first options. Hooker only played because Milton got hurt. Joey only played because Nico took off and he fell into our laps the last minute. Makes you wonder if possibly the wrong guy is starting.

You’re right. Heupel has years of QB experience and knowledge. Therefore, we need to trust that if Mac or Staub were ahead of Faizon then one of them would be starting. Especially given Heupel’s history of not starting true freshman players.
Didn't Heupel start Milton over Hooker? Im not saying either are better and I trust his pick but he has def made questionable decisions in the past

Milton is probably the greatest practice QB of all time. It's not hard to see why CJH picked him over Hooker. There was even a poster here who suggested the Cowboys didn't give Milton the backup QB job because they didn't want Dak looking over his shoulder 😂

If anything Joey coming in and doing what he did just supports the notion that CJH is a QB guru. Joey was scraps that no one wanted and came in and led the league is passing.

Problem I see with Heup is he is a bit, just a bit slow in recognizing the lights on game readiness of a QB. Milton - Hooker comes to mind?
But I think we will see either this year or next year that Faizon is definitely the right call. As long as he has dependable WRs and TEs to heave unto.

It's the 5.61b release of the Snowflake AI. It has a native VolNation plug-in for direct thread starting. Even if you talk about making the playoff, winning the SEC, a player making AA, or a coach getting a raise, it formulates your thread into a Legions of the Miserable category. Top features are the automatic Fhar-A-Coach feature, a "Railroaded by Refs" bonus add-in, and the ability to automatically fire off a Whine-11 call even if you mistakenly type something as benign as "Go Vols".

Try it out. Only $9.99/mo for the Basic plan plus the option for the $19.99/mos Plus Plan that adds auto-whine for every uniform thread and the extra revenue goes the Danny White project of choice.

www.Snowflake.ai ... try it!

Scraps that had nearly 7,000 yards in 2 seasons at appy state , but go ahead and ignore reality if it supports your guru theory

If Nico hadn't taken off he would have never signed Aguillar so of course he wouldn't have started lol

He did. The only counter that I would give you is that he’s seen a lot more of Mac than he did Hendon. And honestly, Milton was a physical specimen. I think he was kind of a shiny new Cadillac until he wasn’t. But I see your point.

I think as others have said; he was gambling on Joey getting another year, when that didn’t work out I believe that Mac and Brandon were close…Brandon slightly better possibly. At that point you start who has the biggest ceiling. Brandon will take his lumps against Texas, Bama and LSU. I suspect he will look much better this Saturday as we should be able to run on Auburn.

Fair point on GMac. Milton can def spin a ball just sometimes a little too much 😂

That's been discussed at nauseam. Hendon was a terrible practice QB and Milton looked like a Heisman Winner..Both were new to the system, so all he had to go by was practice habits. Every Coach deals with that at times. Lane picked Simmons over Chambliss to start last year, Fulmer and Cutcliff played Brandon Stewart before Peyton early on.

Wrong on Manning. Manning went in before Stewart.

Not sure what you're trying to prove here. My point still stands and coaches can absolutely make mistakes. Im not even saying he has with FB but to say he has never is wrong
