Heupel era best defensive games?

I think this was the best the defense has played against a ranked team since CJH arrived. Offense and special teams weren’t clicking but the defense bowed up to keep us in the game. They should gain some confidence from today’s efforts.

You could pretty much say they were the reason we won. With the offenses self inflicted wounds and inability take control this is a game that could have went a few different ways. If this is a indication of how our defense is going to play we could have a really good season if the offense can be more discipline. I think we overcame Pitt and Purdue tonight because there for a few it look just like the Purdue game all over again but because of our defense we was able to win this one.
