He is starting Saturday and will probably be handling punting and kickoff duties, according to Phil.

You'll have to forgive me if I'm not that excited about the return of a punter...

Now...if it were...I don't know...Peyton Manning or even Eric Ainge I might be apt to jump for joy

Actually, our punting game has been HORRENDOUS and we have surrendered some pretty bad field position because of short/low kicks, and bad coverage to boot. This could actually make a difference if it is a fairly low-scoring game.

When I saw the name of this thread I thought maybe you were talking about NEW COACH.

He will see the field after our first possession. (unless we turn the ball over of course)

A drunk or not. A good punter and phil go together like peanutbutter and jelly. I won't elaborate on why, its to obvious. Good to see him back. We can ooh and ahh over the fifteen punts he'll have saturday.

He got about as good punting as one could wish for in the Auburn game.

This Colquitt fiasco is where any respectable athletic director would have stepped in. When you have a rogue coach like Phillip Fulmer that keeps a drunk on the team any AD should have dismissed the player and the head coach. Disgraceful! I hope the Georgia fans ride him so hard he can't even punt.
