This is what Penny was referring to. Penny needs to stop being THAT defensive of his team to the point he is exaggerating. His guys flopped, they were plenty active in their own gesturing towards Bone, our guy is nowhere near his bench and he was taking up for his boys just like his were. It happens.

Penny later changed his story from the entire team to a few players. He even clarified they were not starters. I saw no players who ran over with clenched fists looking for a fight.

The only reason the UT players left the bench is because at least 2 UM players had followed Bone mouthing at him as he headed back past the scorer's table towards the UT bench. The officials quickly got over there and shut that down and accessed the technical to Martin, and were in a position to keep the teams separated at that point, as can be seen in the OP's clip.

Penny is FOS. He told the media to watch a replay which would prove that Bone instigated the verbal altercation because his guy would never do that, and he said video would confirm that the UT team came to his bench with balled fists.

And yet the replay shows the UM player walking up behind Bone talking to him and does not show any UT players with balled fists, much less getting anywhere near the UM bench. So Penny either hallucinates or is a liar.

Walk down any street and you can see young males wearing pants that are pulled up anywhere from the top of the knee to the bottom of the buttocks, reagardless of color. But yes, it is more prevalent in some cultures.

Not my opinion but Lanes. I truly hope we can move on past this stuff and let Penny flop on his own. I don’t like the Vols being tied to UMemphis in any shape. JMO
