Sad.

Sad that I'll only be missing three guys on that list, and it may as well be two.

Wow. Yet large parts of VN expect us to beat top-10 teams. I guess Dooley should have done a better job recruiting the 2008 class.

Wow! That's pretty telling. The only SEC caliber player on that list, Malik Jackson, wasn't even part of that original signing class. That's gotta be one of the worst classes in the modern era.

Wow, this really explains a few things.

Evans was a 3 star, undersized CB, didn't have high hopes for him. Martin on the other hand was a top 50 national recruit and I had HUGE hopes for him but his potential was limited due to serious injuries.

Evans was my sleeper of that class....guess he never woke up.

As much as I would like to use this time as an opportunity to continue arguing the point that Dooley deserves more time, I am going to go a different route.

I am happy and proud of these Vols. They have stuck through adversity like none other in our history and I look forward to them going out as winners in their last game in Neyland Stadium.

They will have a positive end to their college careers after we finish with a three game winning streak and a bowl win.

Wonder we aren't undefeated with all this talent and leadership.

1. Anthony Anderson - helped on special teams kinda
2. Cory Eicholtz - never heard of
3. Art Evans - huge bust, thanks Fulmer
4. CJ Fleming - never paned out period
5. Nick Guess - never heard of
6. Malik Jackson - transfer, about the only productive player at times

7. Austin Johnson - plays hard, not SEC caliber, not close.

8. Ben Martin - had potential, never healthy.
9. Tauren Poole - I have zero comment
10. Shane Reveiz - wont be missed, some special teams help

11. Chip Rhome - no comment
12. Matt Simms - thank God he's gone, eff his dad by the way

13. Jake Storey - never heard of
14. Daryl Vereen - never fully developed, won't be missed. I blame of the coaching changes on his lack of development.

All of my negative comments are football related only

This has to be the most unproductive senior class in our history. I'm glad they all stuck it out and gave their all for the Vols. They had to deal with some BS to say the least. Good luck to them with their futures. VFL's!

Wonder we aren't undefeated with all this talent and leadership.

1. Anthony Anderson - minor contributor
2. Cory Eicholtz - who?
3. Art Evans - decent player
4. CJ Fleming - very minor contributor
5. Nick Guess - who?
6. Malik Jackson - good player, but transfer
7. Austin Johnson - maximized his abilities
8. Ben Martin - major disappointment IMO
9. Tauren Poole - complete enigma (1,000+ yards in 2010; awful in 2011)
10. Shane Reveiz - on team due to last name only
11. Chip Rhome - backup kicker
12. Matt Simms - seems like nice guy and was put in tough situation , but really underachieved IMO
13. Jake Storey - who?
14. Daryl Vereen - bounced around entire career

That tells you all you need to know about how we ended up where we are. Compare our senior class to an Arkansas or Alabama. Wow.

You mean go Vandy right? I don't see how any legit fan isn't disappointed in this senior class. Not at the players themselves, but at the ones responsible for this class. Fulmer and company. Thank you.

My thoughts

Wonder we aren't undefeated with all this talent and leadership.

1. Anthony Anderson-saved our punt returns last year. wish he could have played more

2. Cory Eicholtz-who?

3. Art Evans-nice pick six this year but otherwise....

4. CJ Fleming-never heard of him

5. Nick Guess-long snapper i believe?

6. Malik Jackson-will be dearly missed, great football player

7. Austin Johnson-hard player, solid imo. will be replaced fairly easily

8. Ben Martin-glad that he stuck it through the adversity and was able to play his senior year

9. Tauren Poole-i dont know whats happened to him this year?

10. Shane Reveiz-not like his brother but good on special teams

11. Chip Rhome-I didn't even realize he was a senior

12. Matt Simms-he's had a good attitude but that's about it

13. Jake Storey-who?

14. Daryl Vereen-shame he never panned out

Here's a list of Juniors:

1-Marsalis Teague - wish he would've picked UF after all

2-Nigel Mitchell-Thornton - bust
3-Greg King - where in the hell is this guy?
4-Darin Gooch - who?
5-Mychal Rivera (RS) plays hard and can be really good at times

6-Zach Rogers - David Lipscomb high school track guy
7-Rod Wilks (RS) - mutha effin killa
8-Prentiss Waggner (RS) - good player, plays out of position. Kinda guy you want on every team.

9-Herman Lathers (RS) - deeply missed
10-Ben Bartholomew (RS) - Fugate should be starting here.

11-Carson Anderson (RS) - who?
12-Dallas Thomas (RS) - Fulmer bust. Tries hard, talent lacking.

13-Willie Bohannon (RS) - undersized out of position, not SEC caliber.

14-Steven Fowlkes (RS) - who?

This class would be entirely different if all the fiasco with Kiffin didn't occur. Half of those juniors are in jail or at Div. 2 programs because of trouble.

OMG this list is worse than the first one! Aside from P Swags and maybe Rivera no one on this list is SEC caliber.
Bartholomew does his job but is by no means a difference maker, Lathers has an opportunity next year to finally be a big part of the defense.
D Thomas is another guy that does his job but you won't confuse him with an elite guy.
