If I'm not mistaken, we were on the front page of ESPN for several hours after the game. They can't keep it up there forever.

We were also front page of espn's mens basketball page today.

The Vols have had plenty of positive press from their win on Saturday...and the coverage of this loss will be big as well. I hate to see us lose, but I'm glad to see it's so newsworthy when it happens...that tells you all you need to know about where the program is right now.

I've never had any complaints how the Nashville paper and talk shows cover my team. I moved to Nashville 2 years ago and enjoy all the great sports here in Tennessee. It's great to finally live in an SEC State. When I lived in Texas they did not cover the SEC much at all.

truth. I have that to thank for my addiction to the Nation. edit: that and my shoddy work ethic.

I think someone should try teaching them to read first.

Approach the issue one step at a time.

Don't know what part of Alabama the other poster is from, but there is plenty of talk here in Birmingham. Newspaper has had it, sports radio talked about them for two days, after the Vandy loss it was kinda a non story. So I am not sure what else they were supposed to do. Was a story in the paper on Monday, what else are you asking for? They don't talk about Florida or Georgia basketball here either. They are not State schools, if you wanna hear Tennessee Basketball call one of the sports talk stations and talk UT basketball. That simple.

tide fan,

you're a breath of fresh air. you're the first AL fan I've seen living in the past. most are bent on the current and never think about the past 15 year. Why would people talk abount relevant years. I want to hear about the all but irrelevant distant past. Thank you

Exactly. Paul Finebaum loves Bruce Pearl and UT Basketball (I don't know why I listen to his radio show, though. Guess it's like the moth drawn to the flame thing).

I don't live in the distant past either. Us winning 2 out of the last 3 against the Vols is current enough for me.
