Caesar's Sports book lists Tennessee's current odds to win the natty at +1800. Here is what Vegas insider said pre-season:
"+12500 The Vols will have enough of a hard time trying to lock down bowl eligibility. They're not an undefeated or one-loss team capable of making a run to the College Football Playoff, however. Don't waste your good money on a Vols national title shot. It ain't happening."
I'm not crowning the Vols, there is a long way to go and I simply wanted to point this out.
Odds to win the SEC pre-season +4000. Today +450
Over/Under pre-season win total: 7.5 - If you told me we'd have 8 regular season wins I would have been very happy.
Hooker Heisman pre-season odds +5000. Today +600 and 2nd to only Stroud.
SI's bowl prediction pre-season: ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Notre Dame. I would have been happy with a Jan 2 game in the pre-season.
Today Peach Bowl vs. Ohio State (CFB Playoff)

Who knows where this ride will take us. This is the most fun I could imagine. I thought it would take at least 3 more years of recruiting before we could realistically expect the level of success we are experiencing now. We've been in the football wilderness for way too long. Time to enjoy. We can finally say with confidence...
