Not even close. Mallett. Then again, he would have to sit out next year, unless he could get a waiver from the clearinghouse which would be highly doubtful.

I know it will never be, but I feel sorry for a kid like Mallett, who gets stuck in this situation. No way he would have ever gone to Michigan if they were running the spread option. Wish he could transfer without penalty. Just not fair IMO
