Hooker was coming off that ACL and also had the gimmick system tagWe should have drafted Hooker instead of Levis to begin with.
I agree taking Trey would be a better decision. Levis wasn’t a great QB in college. Maybe bad NFL OC’s can’t evaluate processing speed and IQ’s. I’d take a guy who led an underdog team to a top scoring offense over a guy who led a defensive team to an average offense.Hooker was coming off that ACL and also had the gimmick system tag
Truth is, if the Titans have drafted Hooker with the team they had then, Hooker would've got rolled just like Levis did.
Honestly from preseason and reg season games he got to play in, he looked lost. I'd look at using him for a summer/fall camp QB but doubt I'd have him on my final roster
I'm more disappointed the Titans didn't draft Trey then Hendon, yeah Trey had the blood clot issue but they needed a Guard and it was a 6th, they could've took him cheap
I don’t get the Levis pick either other than TN thought they were gonna be able to get Stroud because they thought the Texans were taking Anderson, because rumors were going around we were getting Stroud, but Texans took him at 2 and traded back up and got Anderson also. After that they panicked picked because they were wanting a QB but still didn’t think Levis was worth a first roundI agree taking Trey would be a better decision. Levis wasn’t a great QB in college.
