“The biggest thing is we do whatever it takes to win,” Helton told the media on Thursday. “I don’t think in today’s game that you can just be one particular thing. I think defenses are going to dictate what you do and you have to be able to put yourselves in positions to win games. You’re going to see multiple defenses so you have to be able to attack what you’re seeing. One thing I like about our offense is we’re very multiple. We can get under center, we can run the ball. We can spread you out, we can get in the gun and throw the ball.”

Finally, Tennessee doing whatever it takes to win rather then run the same offense no matter the opposition.

Whatever it takes to win? Sounds like they need a QB who can throw touchdowns and lead teams to victory..

I'm not knocking Helton, Pruitt, and this coaching staff, but i'm just ready for a staff to prove it on Saturdays. After Kiffin, Dooley, and Jones and their staffs all talkeda big game and how they were going to build UT back into the power house they once were and all 3 failed at doing soo, I'm just ready to see a staff do it and not talk about doing it. Is it too much to ask to finally get a coaching staff to come in and bring UT back to glory and punch Bama, Florida and UGA in their mouths? Please let this staff be the one's to do that, but until then talk is talk, it's part of the job and they have to encourage people but it's talk.

But what about the system. Just give it time.

Our system will work. We are young.

The system works our guys just need to execute.

Hey, I'm with you... but remember that Fulmer finally gave our football team the budget it needs. This staff should know how to win. David Johnson was part of the Memphis staff and the turnaround of that program is amazing. They went front from barely winning 2 games a season in conference usa to being ranked and beating some quality teams. They had nowhere near the talent or recruiting pipelines that Tennessee has. We'll be okay.

I believe JG & KC have the capability of doing so. Especially in this new QB friendly offense. let's just hope our o-line improves!

C"mon man, you should know "It takes six to seven years in the SEC to really build a program."

We'll be making adjustments to what the other team is doing really! Wow that would be shocking to Jones not to stay with the system of running against an 8 man box or passing from the half yard line on first down.

The last 3 coaches were Haslam hires. Pruitt is a Fulmer hire. 🤞
