His older brother Clay will most likely be looking for a job and Tyson might follow. Best scenario would be for Clay to take the Louisville job and hire Neil and Tyson. They know the kentucky area well.

So if that happens, what happens to TN? I've been saying this for long time. He will just promote Will Friend as OC/OL. It's simple. But is it?

In my opinon, this will be our BEST case scenario. Mike Bobo gets fired at Colorado State. He takes over as OC and Will Fiend is still OL. And everyone is on the same page!

Kingsbury got fired, not really Pruitt's style but things would be entertaining. I guess we can wait until something happens with Helton to start our crazy coaching hire brainstorming.

Bring in Kiffen to redeem himself, he’s a great offensive mind. Or 2. Hugh Freeze needs an SEC job if they’ll allow him. 3. Bring in the Browns OC (he and Pruitt go back)

Helton will be fine. The stability is needed. Once we have alone coached up, a lot of problems will go away.

His brother didnt get fired and I dont think he is either.

If he leaves it ll have as much to do with him if not more than him being pushed out.

Kiffin would not be allowed. Doubtful that Freeze would either.

There were rumors a month ago that he wanted out. He and Pruitt don’t appear to be on the same page.

Helton isn’t getting fired from USC. They announced he’s staying. With that said, he has to make staff changes. He ain’t going into a sink or swim year with staff changes that result in him hiring his brother.

I can't swallow my pride for this, but neither would Kiffin. He's had enough success with the Hooters that he'll get another head gig somewhere. Even if he did come here, he'd be ready to take the first head job that offered.

If we are truly already at the fire coordinator stage of things it will only feed the perception of dysfunction surrounding the football program. You have to give people time to do their jobs. Our OL personnel are awful. None of the current coaches chose them, no one could polish that turd.

If Helton goes to WKU (IF!), I would like to see either Larry Fedora or Cliff Kingsbury as OC. Both have HC experience and are offense minded.
