Helton a Joke of a Play Caller

Listen, i know we are down right now on talent but the play calling from this so-called great offensive coordinator is atrocious. It’s so predictable it’s almost a joke at this point. Run, run, screen. And if we don’t run on first or second down it’s SHOCKER screen pass. Safe to say our offensive playmakers besides our back are Jennings, Palmer, and Callaway yet we can’t get them the ball more than 2 yards past line of scrimmage.

And yes the Oline sucks but good grief we can throw downfield passes.

Way, way too conservative. But you'd think Pruitt has something to do with it, or it would have changed.

Play calling is the least of our Offense problems. Change nothing but QB, to a Frohm, or Grier and we get some first downs and might even score once in a while

His staff looked good on paper except Helton. Helton here made no sense then and it’s making no sense now.

Our offense has too many good players to be as bad as we are. Helton is terrible all around. Coaching, play calling, etc. Pruitt has to make a change at OC in the off season.

Been on the JG bandwagon until now. He can't read a defense, cant look off safeties, can't read through progressions .Bench him please. Everything we call is by design. The coaching staff really handcuffs the offense when JG is in.

Helton is learning on the job and Pruitt is a defensive coach who probably wants an old school power run game. Not a good combo. Especially with the line problems.
