Having withdrawals so I’m planning a guys’ weekend of tailgating, grilling, bourbon drinks, and football games (YouTube reruns.) What are your top games to rewatch? Doesn’t have to be 1998 either if you can think of some exciting, hard-fought, knock down drag out football spectacles. Probably need at least 3 to make a day of it. Thanks!!!

If you want to watch QBs get maimed, the first three games of the 1991 season provide quality entertainment. Brohm, Maddox, and Robinson felt the brunt of Lacewell’s hate, especially Brohm. I’m surprised the poor bastard is still alive.

2004 Georgia is a good one. They were riding high, had just beaten the hell out of Saban's defending national champions the week before. We were given no chance. I think they were ranked No. 3. We chopped them down to size. It was great.

Miracle at South Bend 1991 (TN-ND)

Edit: If you want something different check out the 2007 Fiesta bowl- Boise St vs Oklahoma. Fun game to watch comes down to the last play.
Edit 2: 2005 Cotton Bowl Game TN vs Texas A&M (before they were in the SEC).

2009 UGA was fun. 2005 comeback versus LSU was the only good thing that happened that season.

I was fortunate to be in attendance at both of these: 1991 Miracle at South Bend and ‘86 Sugar Bowl. The Sugar Bowl—watch for the exuberance show by players and fans...in a game most expected us to lose. The ND game? Be sure the play by play announcer is John Ward and watch it for the sheer improbability of what transpires.

92 UF. Glorious Victory in the Rain. Mose rumbles for a 50 yarder, and JJ McCleskey grabs his crotch at the UF fans
I went to that game with my dad... It was an amazing day!! It was my 16th bday and even though it was pouring rain Neyland was rockin!!! Great bday present

Go with me here, 1990 Tennessee v. Notre Dame was about the most exciting game I ever saw in Neyland even with the way it ended. Big stars making big plays all over the field. It was so good they made sequel in 1991 and got the ending right that time. Watch them as a pair.
1992 UT at Georgia for most exciting Heath Shuler game. If you want to see the full array of what Shuler brought to the table it was all on display in Athens. Try to imagine that skill set in a generation later's spread offense.
