1) depends on where you are in Atlanta. North side of town, it'll be I85 to GA316. South side, it's probably I20 to Conyers, 138 to Monroe and 78 to Athens.

2) I'd bank on it taking at least 2 hours with traffic unless you leave early.

3) It's tough.

Take 85N towards Lawrenceville to 316E t

Parking is a ***** try one of the University hotel lots...its almost impossible to park anywhere near Sanford

Just make sure you have TN flags flying from your vehicle and show as much ORANGE as possible!

I'm in Atlanta too but won't be going. The cheapest tix I could find were $175 each and need 3...so I will watch at the Alumni party in North Atlanta! GO VOLS!!!!

If you get out of Atlanta before 9am 85N to 316 is the route to go. If it is much later than that, 316 becomes a parking lot (literally will be moving 10 miles/hour) so you will want to continue on 85N until you get to 129 (exit 137). That 129 will eventually turn into Prince street which goes straight into Athens.

Parking is a nightmare and they love to tow. I would just google the stadium and look for the closest/cheapest lot possible.

If you want to save a headache, wake up and leave at 7am, beat traffic, and find a good pay lot.

1) 85N to 316 to loop 10. Pass the poop on the loop. Get off at exit 8. Turn left. Follow traffic to your destination.

2) 4 hours

3) East Campus Parking Garage.

I'm telling y'all.

Park at the intramural fields.

Or the east campus parking deck. It's free, with a free shuttle there and back. It's first come, firstly serve though.

This is a great detour if you get a late start. Leaving is the hard part. Just be patient. And there is lots of free parking if you are willing to walk a little bit. Being further away helps with getting out of there a little bit too.

Park as far away from the stadium and as close to the bypass as you can. There is free and/or very cheap parking and you will get out of town much quicker. Get on campus early and go by and watch their player walk. It's a pretty good game day atmosphere.

Thanks. Did just this. Wish they had a big screen TV in their student center to kill time watching earlier games like we do at UTK.
