A good friend and Florida booster is hosting me this weekend. We just returned from dinner to watch the Tech/Miami game with about 50 other Gator fans. As I am dressed head to toe in Vol orange I have taken a lot of ribbing at dinner and here. The funny thing is while they are confident of a victory Saturday they all worry about the future with CLK leading the Vols. Most of them think he has the brashness of Spurrier and ability to back it up. A couple have told me they hope the score is closer than predicted due to pay back in the future Nice to see them sweat.

Be careful in the land of swamps, rotten water, and lovebugs and bring home a victory

The first part is very believable. Second part- not so much. I call shenanigans.

I, unfortunately due to a job transfer, had to live in Middleburg, Fl for all of '06 and attended church in Starke. We had a men's golf outing the Friday prior to the Game and I showed up in a big orange polo and "T" hat. At the reception as they were awarding door prizes, someone shouted "hey did the Tennessee guy win anything?" Without missing a step I stood up and shouted back "no thanks, I'll get my win tomorrow." Cue the sound of many jeers.
Of course I had to eat crow the next morning prior to Sunday School but it was good natured as one might expect.
Thankfully, I am back in TN to stay. It's gonna take an extradition warrant to get me back in FLA.

It's funny you calling shenanigans, although I am impressed with the spelling :)

We're so far in your head, you've abandoned your gator avatar for a Kiffin one. It appears that the Kiffin strategy is operational even at the most granular level.
