I am sitting in in the KLM lounge at Schiphol doing some email and surfing the net prior to my return to the good ol USA. I have been checking out the week that was in Vol Nation and thought I'd give a 'hey'.

If anyone is every travelling to any of the EU in the near future for the first time, drop me a PM for tips. I travel frequently to the Neatherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France.

The most disappointing aspect of traveling in the EU is the weak dollar. We are getting handed to us in terms of currency exchange. Like the saying says - A dollar won't buy what it used to - which is never more true than now.

I've visited Amesterdam several times, when I lived in Germany. We always enjoyed the Argentinian restrauants, Heineken beers, and the Bulldog, on the square downtown..
