HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I've never read the books. I've just done my research on a lot of things to better understand the show.

I've said it before, but EVERYONE should read the story of the Mad King and Roberts Rebellion. Certain elements of the show make so much more sense if you do.

I've always wanted to see Roberts rebellion play out on screen.

Is it explained in the first book?

beyond the wall has trees.the farther north the fewer the trees.

in the book, there was trees all the way to where the king of the north had his camp.

What part?

they changed the part where the red woman comes to meet with the brotherhood and takes roberts bastard son.in the book she never comes south.i won't put any more because i don't know what they're going to do next.

All the evil in Jaime Lannister must have been in his right hand.

I finally picked up the first book this weekend - can't put it down like all said on here. I'm now desperately trying to catch up to the show.

Meh... take your time, GRRM doesn't look like he will finish it any time soon and then you will be left, like the rest of us, in argumentative purgatory until the next book is published.
