HBO mini series - John Adams

Anybody else been watching this? I'm part way through the second episode on On Demand, fantastic so far. My only beef is that it probably doesn't paint a fully accurate of Adams' personality. He has a halo on at all times. Paul Giamatti (sp?) does an outstanding job of acting, though. Would be near a shoe-in for Oscar if it were a movie.

How did the series paint Ben Franklin? I know a preview I watched showed Adams, eveidently reading one of his letters to Abigal, speaking how he refuses to cozy up to the French. Franklin's "cozying up" to the French helped lead to American independence.

It's very good, unfortunatly we started watching and then had HBO turned off after episode 4.
