Hbo max is now MAX

Hbo max has added a bunch of cable channels shows on their new MAX platform. There's a ton of stuff now, food network, HGTV, TLC (luther can watch all the 600lb life shows over and over.... i kid of course) travel channel and a bunch more.

HBO used to be king of original content. Since they blew their wads on GoT. The rest of their shows have dropped off the table, absolute crap

Yeah, I don't watch much of the originals, I'll watch some movies for background. I did watch that CS Strike series, which are books written by jk Rowling

Because the content is more WB content not just HBO - includes Discovery, IFC, etc. They want the HBO brand to still mean HBO and not be confused with the other cable TV content.

Me too. That **** was hot as a 14 year old. Too bad everyone having hardcore porn at their fingertips pretty much killed it. Kids from now on will never know the struggle. That's half of what's wrong with em' imo.

Tastes will vary ...

... but "Euphoria" has had more viewership than any original content they've aired since 2004. except for "Game of Thrones."

What are you talking about? Barry is awesome. The Last of Us. Euphoria. Several great mini series in recent years. Watchmen was phenomenal. Succession is in the running for best show of all time. We'll see how they land the plane on Sunday.

Haven't watched Euphoria but agree on Barry and TLOU. Chernobyl was another good one I've watched recently.

You're criminally leaving out Chernobyl. In my opinion, it overtook Band of Brothers as the best mini-series there's ever been, with BoB still a very close second.

Chernobyl was awesome gut wrenching to watch but I was enthralled by it. Def one of HBO’s best miniseries.

Tell me you are ignorant without telling me you're ignorant. Succession, Barry and Righteous Gemstones are laps better than 99.9% of content on any other platform or channel.

That's HBO's brand. The Wire, Sopranos, Oz, Six Feet Under, Succession, Euphoria, hell, even Deadwood and GoT at their core are dramas.

You have terrible taste. You say you don't like drama but all three are not drama. They are dark comedies. And the sheer quality of writing, acting and direction make them required watching.
