Have you lost interest?

My interest has declined by a lot. I still love to watch the games, but I used to follow recruiting very closely, and that has completely stopped. I didn't know who DGG was until a few weeks ago.

I don't have a problem with players getting compensation, but with that you get players trying to hold you hostage every year to get a new deal, and all the drama that goes with that. Allowing the players to portal every year has created a culture of mercs where there's a decline in love & connection to a program from the player side.

I've also lost interest because it feels like we used to have some great insiders who provided good info, but it seems like that has really dried up. I'm not sure if they leave this board because they just move on or if it's because we have no mercy on them the second something they share doesn't come to pass. I guess for them, sometimes the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Do we even have any legit insiders who actively post anymore?

Yeah, that is pro football. College isn't
When half of the D1 players play for 2-3 schools in their window of eligibility while getting paid to do it, it doesn't feel like college. Choosing to leave somewhere to go to somewhere else for the money is a professional decision.

There's very little college left in college football, and that's fine. It is still fun to watch. Maybe it's always been that way and they're just now being honest about it.

For the first time in 44 years I cannot tell you the name of a single UF player on this year's team.
Chris Doering?
CJ Leak?
Emmitt Smith?
Tim Tebow?
Doug Johnson?
Javon Kearse?
Anthony Richardson?
Reidel Anthony?
Trevor Etienne?

Yeah, I can’t either. I looked one up. Jadan Baugh. RB. It’s going to be weird not playing you all.

Not lost interest in Tennessee football or college football. I have lost interest in recruiting. It was miserable to follow pre-NIL, much less these days.

What I don't like it the complete roster turnovers that we see across sports and having to learn all the new players each season.

I don't really keep up with players anymore. I've noticed I'm more excited for the Titans season.

I still look forward to college football though. I'd say I used to be a 10/10 for CFB. Now I'm an 8/10.
