I've listened to a few VFLs today on radio and YouTube shows.. They all said the same thing.. They wanted The Vols to beat Vandy by 70! One said not to pull the starters until the score was at least that..

I share an office with a girl whose uncle is a Vandy fan. Like... a real one... buys season tickets and everything. He convinced her and her fiancé to go with him to the Vandy/UNLV game this year

She was like “He was so mad. He wants the coach fired, it ruined his day.” I just remember thinking there’s no way he can be that emotionally invested in Vanderbilt football.

I kind of want to meet him though. A real, true, “Anchor Down and blow the Admiral” Vandy fan.

There are not many but they're are a few. This will sound crazy the one that I know is a great salt of the Earth guy. Just so happens he was brought up in a family that was Vandy fans.

In half a century I have met very few true Candy fans. I’ve met many many alum and most of them are not Vandy fans.
