Hats off to Trevon Flowers

Two bad plays (he whiffed on a head-down tackle when the tight end hurdled him and scored, and the muffed punt).

Kudos for him keeping his head in the game and performing at the end.
Didn’t he also take the terrible angle on the big TD run or was that someone else?

I think watching the replay of that hurdle TD run on ESPN all week will be enough to correct that problem. Penalty enough.

He definitely made game changing plays ( for both teams ) a couple of times! I think the pick in the end zone was probably the biggest impact play.

Flowers had some BIG mistakes but he is our best player in the secondary. He makes plays as well.

He should have never fielded that punt. He had Pitt players in his face.

Since we won, they won't be using that one against us, thankfully. If we'd have lost, that play would be front and center on each and every ESPN pre-game show for the next decade.

Yeah that muffed pint when we had a chance to seal the game late in the 4th was sooo clutch
Good lord, people make mistakes. It was a horrible play no way around it. He kept his head in the game and came up clutch with the sack. Seeing so many people on this board miserable after a big win makes me question if they are truly fans or just miserable people? Lighten up and enjoy the wins. Its not how you start but how you finish and Flowers made a game changing play to seal the win.

Gotta give Flowers a shout out for not quitting. He muffed the punt return but, kept his focus till time expired. Kudos to the coaches for helping him stay focused.

Probably Banks, he was shite all game.
Wasn’t banks. Banks followed that play from behind and nearly caught him at the end. Just rewatched and it was McCollough. Although I’m not sure what Flowers was doing on it either. Bad play by several guys.

I don’t really like Flowers in the return game regardless of his muffed punt. I feel like we got way more dynamic guys on the bench that should be out there.

I suppose they really trust him that’s why he’s out there.

Trevon is a decent player and the INT shifted momentum to be sure but a senior shouldn’t drop punts. That last pass attempt by Pittsburgh has to be concerning too. A good ball and they tie us up on a 4th and 20. We need a lot more talent in the defensive backfield and only recruiting will correct that.
