I didnt watch band of brothers but I watched the pacific and it was pretty good. I stand corrected. But I hope you understand where I was coming from

I know what you mean.

Still, make it a priority to watch Band of Brothers sometime. In all honesty, its better that you watched the Pacific first, that way you were able to enjoy it for what it was without comparing it to Band of Brothers which is FAR better. I think most people went into The Pacific with the expectation that it was going to be just like BoB, but the bar had already been set so high that it was going to be almost impossible for any show, even a great one to live up to those expectations.

Just heard on the radio that all three parts were the highest rated shows on television last week. I was surprised since I figured no one outside of the south would be overly interested. Looking forward to watching it when it makes its way to netflix.

The Pacific was horrendous in comparison to Band of Brothers.
