... just posted his 3rd triple double of his freshman season en route to a triple OT victory over a scrappy & relentless UCF team. UCF had 6 players fouled out by the closing seconds, but I do give them credit for fighting 'till the very end. With Memphis down, C-USA play has been fun to watch.

Hassan's final line in 47 minutes of play: 14 pts, 11 rebounds, & 13 blocks.... yes 13! This will easily put him back ahead of Jarvis Varnado as the leading shot blocker in the nation with over 5.2 blks/game, after less than a week of Jarvis taking that spot with that great performance against 'Bama.

As a Vol & Marshall fan, I couldn't have asked for a better day. :dance2:

Word is on the street is he is staying at least another year... one can be hopeful. :) This kid is something else... has one hell of a future ahead of him.

I think he's going pro this year.
I hope not. At least one more year in college will do him wonders. As we've discussed many times Milo, it's not the first contract, it's the second one that matters.

Absolutely. Agree 100%. A little weight and a bit of maturity, patience and experience will do him wonders. I just wish Marshall would up their SoS so we could see his play in comparison to some talented big men & against some quality opponents.

indeed. gotta be hard as a 19 or 20 year old to be told you could be an nba lottery pick and turn it down, though.
