It doesn't matter who else is on the committee, you've got a stacked deck and nobody is going to override whoever Haslam and Manning want as AD. They hold all the votes.

Why? Money talks but there are limits. They probably have veto power but can't specify the AD.

Here are the six members on Tennessee's search committee for AD

And why can't you separate your head from your lower intestines?

BIG JIM THE FATHER IS NOT ON THE FREAKIN SEARCH COMMITTEE. JIM JUNIOR, THE OWNER OF THE STINKING BROWNS IS.

And though I think that the Browns poor performance is silly criteria for not trusting Haslam on a search committee, those stating it at least know damn well which one they are griping about.

:lolabove: Hahahaha!

Thankfully Haslam is just a money backer and not actually running the place.

Seriously though, how can the Browns suck so bad for as long as they have?

Haslam said in an interview during the draft he decided to select Manziel from the advice of a homeless guy who recognized him in Cleveland.

Therefore, he is doing more than just throwing cash around. And that may partially answer your question.

Now that I remember that, I agree with those questioning him on the search committee. Or I need to find out where he will be parking.

EDIT: Doubt?

Jimmy Haslam says homeless man convinced him to 'draft Manziel' - CBSSports.com
