Seems like we have not heard Malone's name mentioned much here the past week. For him to have had standing about like Hurd coming to the program and with a great spring practice, seems like he's disappeared when people are discussing WR play this camp. Anybody noticed this or is Malone on a cycle with North perhaps?

We are stacked at WR. RB not so much.

Easier to standout at RB.

He's really only a 2*. They turned the 2 upside down, thus he's a 5* on paper.

He is an 18 year old kid trying to learn how to practice at this level. I am no insider but I am sure he has never experienced anything like he has been put through this week.

Josh Malone is an outstanding prospect who, according to reports, is in the two deep as a true freshman. It usually takes some period of time for freshmen, even preternaturally talented ones, to adjust to SEC football. My guess is Malone will make a serious positive impact for the Vols this year. There's no cause for concern. Rather, he seems to be living up to his billing.

Coaches were on him about work ethic for a few days, he's probably just a little down on himself. I'm not too worried about him right now.

He is learning how to practice everyday and How to bring it everyday. He is immensely talented and will be an high impact player. But, the coaches are going to push him and help get him to the point where he realizes what it takes to push himself at all times (which is a trait of the truly great players).

Probly looking at around 30 catches this year from him. With some big plays thrown in there. A lot like Justin Hunter's frosh season.
