Now that I think about it, the 3rd quarter of that game is probably the loudest I ever heard it. Even more than the end of UF a couple years earlier. The first half was already crazy loud, but it went to a whole other level with each successive TD right after halftime. Between it being the season opener, the late afternoon kickoff, the horrible way way 2005 had gone, the Cal QB talking **** about it not being loud beforehand, and how well we played, it was just the perfect storm.In my opinion it was louder than 2006 Cal. Oddly enough I was sitting in almost the same part of the stadium for both games. But I’m with you, every able bodied man needs to do his part and stand and yell for the defense. To me it’s a privilege to get to be at Neyland and everyone should want to give their all or get the hell out.
