Has any football player beaten Bama more than Squirrel White in the past 20 years?

Who is Squirrel White? A player on another team?

Also, F him.
I don’t put Squirrel in the Nico-Henry T tier of “F that guy.” It seems based off reports that we didn’t try to retain him, so it was fairly mutual. He helped us win some games and had some good moments as a Vol.

Squirrel had exactly zero touches versus Bama on Saturday. Wasn't going to be a difference maker had he stayed here.
(Edited here to add: I missed in the FSA stat line that he actually did have 1 reception for 40 yards. My apologies.)

Yeah he had a long catch to set up their first TD. It was right after our game finished.

Glad to see him do well on a team with a strong history and doing the right things to put the train back on the track.

With that said…he still can’t catch a pass standing up.
Yeah I would have looked a lot cooler if he'd let that overthrown ball hit the ground rather than diving for it and making the 40 yard carch

I got yall!!!

Marquarius Malik White nickname, Squirrel White, is a wide receiver. He first made his name with the Tennessee Volunteers from 2022 to 2024. At the age of 21 he stood 5-10 and weighed around 170-178 pounds. His nickname came from his great grandmother because he mimicked a squirrel’s movement as a baby. During his time in Knoxville he played 38 games and caught 131 passes for 1665 yards and six touchdowns which ranks seventh all time in receptions at Tennessee. As a freshman in 2022 he made an immediate impact with 30 catches for 481 yards and two touchdowns including 108 yards and a score in the Orange Bowl. In 2023 he broke out with 67 catches for 803 yards and two touchdowns including an 83 yard TD against UConn and a ten catch game for 111 yards against Alabama. His junior season in 2024 was slowed by injuries and deeper rotation but he still posted 34 catches for 381 yards and two touchdowns while also handling punt return duties.

In January 2025 Squirrel White entered the transfer portal and committed to Florida State to finish his college career. He joined an FSU roster that needed slot production and is expected to compete for a starting role right away. His arrival was part of a transfer class that boosted Florida State’s standing in the portal and gave them another explosive playmaker. Early in the 2025 season he has already logged a 40 yard reception showing that his speed and quickness translate in the ACC just as they did in the SEC.

He’s got 3 dubs over them now. Hopefully a host of Volunteers will join him come October.
Well, he was on 3 TEAMS that beat Bama but he had little to do with the wins. His 1 catch for 40 yards yesterday is his only catch in those 3 wins.

Non-participant in 2022 TN win.

Zero stats in 2024 TN win.

He did go off with 10 catches and 111 yards plus a TD in the 2023 loss.

He doesn’t play for UT anymore!
