Harris finally tells the truth

If you didn't watch the clip and only read clikbait headlines, I can see why you may think that.

All she really said is not everyone is starting out from the same place, and we should do more to help those that started with less.

She said the goal is for everyone to end up in the same place. That's where the talk of communism is coming from.

"We all end up in the same place"

That's not true of any competitive system

You're correct, however the clip ended saying equitable treatment (helping those that started with less) means we all "end up at the same place".

So the OP apparently did watch the clip, and detailed exactly what came out of her mouth.

They see it, they'll be the ones in power. Socialism is the politics of greed and selfishness.
I really don't think the average Democrat sees it. It's not something they think their party is capable of. They brush it off as outliers amongst their party. One day they'll wake up and it will be too late.

Gov't cannot and should not guarantee different outcomes. If that video were accurate it would not have ended with both of them at the top of the mountain. In reality it'd show the guy who started high being pulled down and they both were together somewhere near the bottom. That's where equal outcomes will leave its citizens

We do quite a bit as it is to help out those that start out with less. This was in the news just last week:

A year ago, Wayne was homeless and applying to colleges out of his car while he worked 10-hour shifts at an amusement park. Over the summer, Wayne found out he had been accepted to his dream school -- Boston College -- on full scholarship.

Homeless college student walks over 500 miles to raise awareness, funds for homelessness

Poor kids have access to financial aide that middle class kids don't

Serious Clark? What is your interpretation of everyone ending up at the same place?

I don't think it's bad. Clearly it's addressing the racial element. Not everybody has to end up at the same place. But black people and white people as a distribution should, that should be the end goal. And there are a number of things at play, but one of those things is an unequal starting point. And one of the contributors to that is generational wealth that was denied to black people. Look I don't agree with Democrats, but Republicans need to get a plan to address that the black community needs lifted. My plan would be to end the drug war, invest in those communities (schools, community college, and recreational facilities), and subsidize manufacturing to bring back wealth building blue collar jobs.
