My friends and fellow Vols Montario Hardesty has got to run with better vision. He could have had some big plays for us if he looks to break it instead of just running real hard. Also why is Austin Rogers still getting on the field? We look better with him just being of the field entirely.

I agree about Rogers. How is it that he is technically ahead of Moore on the depth chart even though Fulmer gave us that junk about he considers Moore a starter?

AR has been pretty solid the few times they've thrown to him. He knows his routes and blocks. But obviously we need to get these young, unproven guys "experience" :ermm:

Young guys never get experience sitting on the bench. If we go ahead and play them we can build depth and keep from having a letdown year in and year out.

No, they earn playing time through practice. You can't just throw a guy in and hope he's a gamer

I agree and would also say with the qb situation being what it is you want more experienced dependable guys in the game. A qb that doesn't a firm grasp on thing plus a wr that doesn't have a firm grasp could spell disaster against a good team.

Only true to an extent. That's also what Crompton defenders blathered on and on about after he threw to the turf for a quarter of the season. Apparently Stephens was a worse practice player than Crompton but is easily twice the QB.

Heck for all of the G.Jones hype and I know I'm going to take some heat for this, but he hasn't just takin over a game yet like I expected him to do with all the preseason hype. I thought he would be our version of Percy Harvin but he's nowhere near that fast. I also would like to see D. Moore get some more touches. He makes big plays every week for us.

I actually agree. I'm not sure if it's qb play, coaching, or Jones himself but at this point his reputation is much bigger than what he has done on the field.

He is talking to the media too much for me. He needs to play and do his interviews after the game not during the week.

jones doesn't have those kind of wheels, but he his much harder to tackle.

Another "Hate to say it". Fulmer will be around 2-3 more years, depending on how long it takes him to beat the Generals 173 wins.

Hes got 24 more games. Hopefully it won't take more than 3

i have said it for 3 years now. hardesty just closes his eyes and plow through the line of scrimmage. very little vision and thats why he should be the second option. he will get tough yards but often gets tackled in the backfield cuz he doesnt see the cutback. im not really loving this running back rotation too much.foster should start and get majority of carries, hardesty comes in redzone and short yardage and for the occasional breather, creer is the change of pace and third down back. u have to maximize each players talents, not put them all in the same situation.

NO FOSTER. Just let Creer start and let Hardesty spell him. Creer runs with speed and vision.

foster is our best back. he does not have the speed to take it to the house. everygame he breaks a big one though. opened the game with a 20 yard catch lined up in the slot. longest run of the night. he is our most complete back and deserves to get the majority of the carries. creer will get his carries. hardesty is not a number 1 back in the sec. u have to have some kind of plan with the backs.

Foster is not better than Creer. What most of you are looking at is Foster's body of work. But lets get serious in his career he's been incosistent. When we're in a tough game he'll fumble. So I would like for us to look to the future and let Creer get his feet wet and help us build towards a National Title run next year.

Lennon Creer has the potential to be one of the best backs to ever suit up for the vols. He is the complete package, lets start him and see what he can do. Foster has got worse each year he has been here. Each year he looks a little slower and a little less confident, prob because he has a fumbling problem.

What I was thinking.

Out of all the talent at WR, AR shouldn't be on the field. Not saying he isn't playing solid this year, but I still cringe every time I see #21 line up because of last year
