Harbaugh has struck me since his 49ers days as an extraordinarily thin-skinned and petty individual, and we're talking about a profession that is populated with a lot of guys like that, so the fact that he stands out among them says something. Here’s a good story about how Harbaugh continues to be a complete weirdo to his detriment.

I totally agree with you that it is really, really hard for them to compete with Ohio St as long as they are firing on all cylinders - however, most of their fans don't because they have a more inflated view of the historical success and dominance of their program than any other school. Including Alabama, Notre Dame, etc. There isn't a more overrated college football program all-time than Michigan.Michigan is in a tough spot. I think they will always have solid teams while JH is there but not good enough to compete with OSU or make the playoffs. Who else could the wolverines hire that is better than JH? Or better question who else would want to be there that is a better coach? His antics are annoying.

Yes, totally. ND has been more successful that Michigan not only in more recent times but historically too. Both programs have inflated views of themselves (most big time college programs probably do), but Michigan only has one-half of a national title since 1948, and many will say that was undeserved.Notre Dame at least has had a recent title appearance in 2012 (got spanked) and unfortunately the tide continue to dominate under NS. Michigan imo will be nothing more than a perennial 9-10 win team under JH. There could be a slim chance for them to sneak into a title game if OSU has a coaching change and hire the wrong guy, but they are so far behind OSU in recruiting that appears to be a tall order.
Have you seen the OSU roster?Yes, totally. ND has been more successful that Michigan not only in more recent times but historically too. I don't think their fans realize that the vast majority of their aura was earned during the first half of the last century, and in the current environment how difficult it is for them to recruit against Ohio St. Michigan, to be a fairly large state, does not put out large amounts of good HS football talent. They have to raid other states for talent, which admittedly Harbaugh has done a good job of doing, but it's really hard for them to compete against the Buckeyes. Their best chances for success comes when rivals are struggling, just like Tennessee.
Ohio St has 3 kids on their entire roster from Michigan. A ton of them are from Ohio.Have you seen the OSU roster?

Texas is up there with Michigan, but at least they've won a national title and played for another within the last 15 years.Either Michigan or Texas. No reason Texas shouldn't have 20 national championships with all the talent and money they have access to. While their history is good, it's not much compared to Oklahoma.
But Texas believes they are the center of the CFB world.
JH agrees with the science of Meaturkey GovernorIf you thought JH was a snitch before just wait and see if the SEC, ACC and Big XII somehow pull off a season and the B1G gets killed by the media and starts hemorrhaging recruits to the Power 3. Harbaugh will really start ripping on the SEC and others and claim it’s not an equal playing field. I really wouldn’t be surprised if this gets him moving back to the NFL.
