SC/Stanford was a great game! Both were very good teams and deserving of the win. Certainly hope that CJH, staff and players have been watching, especially the play in the paint by everyone but especially the bigs. If so, then surly they saw how active they have been and the effort given as they went for shots and rebounds. Most of them actually got in the air, off their feet on both offense and defense. The difference we have seen last weekend and thus far today is effort and hustle, giving it their all. That's why they are where they are this weekend. Compare Key to any of them and they will be finishing the race while Key is trying to figure out which end of the floor she is supposed to be on. Lady Vols have a long way to go IMO to even being competitive in the SEC much less the NCAA.

Congratulations to both teams on what was truly a great game. Dawn Staley and South Carolina represented our state and USC very well as always, Coach VanDerveer and the Lady Cardinals are finally back in the national final, and that's great for women's basketball. Hopefully soon, it will our turn, GO LADY VOLS!!!!!

Don't understand some people's needs to bash our own players. SMDH.

Of all threads to choose from, it's strange that you chose this one to say stupid things about the Lady Vols, but since you did....

Officiating is a variable in all games that should never be depended upon, it is big time players and coaches making big time plays and calls in the most crucial moments of the game that determine games and championships. Seeing another program fall short does nothing to lift our program up. Despite the calls, Stanford made the plays when it counted most. I'd rather be in SC's, Baylor's, or UCONN's position than exiting during the early rounds of the tournament. GO LADY VOLS!!!!!!

Dawn Staley has proven herself to be a great recruiter... but there is nothing special about her as a bench coach. She was lucky to avoid UConn to win the one championship that they have... and she will be searching for #2 for a very long time.
Her team will be even better next year so ok buddy whatever gets your rocks off. I would worry about your team making it past the second round next year JS.

Thank you for your input Holly. Now, did you mean to reference CKH? That would be Coach Kellie Harper.

And you will still be saying "next year" when her team fails to win the National Championship... again. The count is 8-1.
