To all of you who are moms or play the part of mom/mentor for a child. Most good mothers don't get the credit they deserve. Hope you all have a pleasant day tomorrow. Tough day for me and my lack of relationship with my mom, but maybe tomorrow will be a good day for her and we can talk for a few minutes.

My mom is pretty amazing. Would do anything for her girls. And I wish I could tell my grandmother how amazing she was to bring up my dad and his two brothers on her own. Miss her very much.

Hope you can patch things up with your Mom somehow. I could not have had a better Mom. I could write a book about my Mom and Dad but will leave it at I miss them both.

Thanks sly, but its not really patchable. She threw in the towel years ago and my fathers death has made it worse. Last time we had her in town, she sat in a room for 2 days and cried, while my sons who never see her asked me the same questions I asked my dad.

A friend of mine bought his mother a loaf of bread and a package of deli meat to give her as a gag gift tomorrow. He's gonna write "So you can make me more sandwiches." I got a good laugh out of it.

Sorry to hear that man, anything is possible though. Try not to give up on her even though it seems impossible.
