Happy bday Dalton!

Haven’t seen a men’s player at UT take a game over like that (Houston, Ernie and Bernie, etc. were before my time). Those back to back plays where he pulled up on Broome and drained the three and then blew by him for the slam pretty much encapsulate the Dalton Knecht experience as a UT fan.

He was unbelievable at times. I wish we had had him for one more year

Gosh the Lakers are dumb.
Good. Hope he goes somewhere where they appreciate him and play him.

As for the Lakers “doing everything they can to get James one more ring,” that’s pathetic. Just retire and stop pretending you hold a candle to Jordan or Kobe. They didn’t need anyone to “get them a ring.” They got rings themselves.

Jordan never got a ring without Pippen. Kobe also never won a title without another Hall-of-Famer, first Shaq and then Gasol. Looking at the string of recent titles it's possible that the 2016 Cavs title will be a standout for having only one HOFamer on the winning team, provided Kyrie doesn't clear the bar. The 2020 Lakers had HOFamer Dwight Howard though he wasn't really at his Hall of Fame level at the time. Anthony Davis probably will up in the Hall, though.
