Now, go out there and mess with your friends. I'm currently working on my sinister plan to mess with my students....

In the past if they've just taken a test, I come in real serious and tell them a copy of the test got out prior to their taking it. As a result, they all have to retake the test...Today.

Mean but fun :)

well i have one girl that is habitually late to class so, is what we did in 2nd block today was everyone was acting like they were studying for a test. before she got in here i told them that when i handed out the test to just go through and circle stuff and then talk about how easy it is. it was a unit test from my student teaching when i had AP world history haha

The early 70's was a mischievous time for students in grades 7 and 8.I can remember our poor teachers taking in on the chin all day long.Glue in the chairs, drawers being nailed shut,Their volkswagens being turned sideways in between cars.Apples being hollowed out and the core being replaced.Student logs and test scores disappearing.Cheery bombs in toilets.Fake phone calls.I can even remember the rescue squad and local police showing up more than a few times.Ah...Different time,I think we all thought we were going to die in Vietnam,so what the heck! Some of the teachers even openly make deals no class work for no mischieviousness!

On the flip side.I can remember entire classes doing calisthenics, taking test for a solid week, and some creative pay back or instigation from the teachers as well.
Like being told being told to go to the auditorium for a free concert and you walk in a see three caulk boards with test questions.School is going to be released at 10 am because of an approaching winter storm.Report to the Gym for pep rally and it's an American History lecture. The principle lining up an entire wing of students in the hall way, shows up with a 3 foot paddle with holes drilled in it saying in a loud voice "this is going to be a long day"....It was twice as long as the usual paddle with holes drilled in it.I kid you not..Like i said a different time.

In sixth grade the faculty played a prank on our homeroom teacher. We had our art class and then were supposed to report back to homeroom for our final period. Right before the bell rang, they escorted all of us to the girls' bball locker room and we all acted like we had to stay in art class with the next class. He actually went outside looking for us and they had us sneak back to his classroom. He walked in in shock that we were there and we told him we were in art class.

I was a teacher's pet and he pulled me and a buddy out and we had to explain what we were doing. He even walked us down to the artroom and I made up a story about where I was standing when he came looking for us. He was completely lost.

He got me back the next year by including my name on the list of homecoming QUEEN candidates.
