Fellas and Ladies...

Brethren,

Seriously, I get that this Saban disciple may not be the dream hire. But, at what point do you just have to trust the system? Phillip appears to be taking his time. His being methodical is a good thing. It shows at least some semblance of a plan. I'd never ask the Volnation to be complacent. But, we need to support AD and this process.

Gotta stop the negativity and complaining. It is what it is. We rid ourselves of the Currie and gave the middle finger to haslam. We stopped numnuts from hiring Schiano and Doeren. Kudos! But, its time to realize that our coup came at a price.

Personally I'm happy with this possibility (cool story?). I hope this guy goes and gets an OC and DC that can recruit and hits the ground running. GBO.

I trust the system (Fulmer) when he has demonstrated he has done due diligence i this search. That he has contacted, and made a legit pitch, to guys like Petersen, Gruden, Brohm, Leach, Miles BEFORE he goes after a coordinator. When he demonstrates he wants the VERY BEST coach for Tennessee.

Trusting the system is what got us Dooley and Butch, and almost Schiano...

He obviously didn't go after Brohm or Leach, because they both accepted before Phil got involved. Phil doesn't want those two. Don't know about the other three that you referenced. It would be criminal not to gauge Petersen's interest. Rumors placed Fulmer in Seattle, so perhaps he did do that, at least. We'll have to hope that one of these coordinators turns into an exceptional coach, because UT needs this hire to work. We've been in the desert too long.

We’ve been trusting this process for over 10 years now.

Nothing has changed, why would it now?

Whether its Pruitt or Tucker, they need to pull the trigger and move forward. Mike Tomlin was a DC for 1 season in Minnesota before he took over in the 'Burgh, to become the youngest HC in the game, with no prior experience, how'd that all work out?

How do we know he hasn't contacted multiple head coaches? Everything on here is pure conjecture at the point. We think we know, but we don't know squat. It might be a good idea to take a valium and go to bed.
