I met Fulmer at a camp when I was in 3rd grade. Had my picture taken with him and he signed it.

Oh and if we're talking scotch, I'm a Macallan man or Lagavulin if I'm really wanting some peat. For bourbon, I love Blanton's.

Just felt like I should contribute a cool story, bros.

I love a good Scotch Talk! You have some amazing favorites... but when it comes to the best of the best in peatiness, you can't go wrong with Laphroaig. I always keep a bottle around.

I bartended a private event after Harry Galbreath’s funeral in 2010 in Clarksville, he went to Clarksville high. I met a slew of former players and coaches, including Fulmer. He was one of the first ones up there, he walked up to me and shook my hand, and said “I’m Phillip Fulmer”. All I could think to say was, yes sir I know who you are. He drank Michelob Ultra and his wife had green apple martinis. Cool stroy bro, i know, but I will never forget it. It was kind of awkward given the circumstances. FYI Travis Henry went through some Hennessy that night.

John Walker Gold 18 bought at Panama border town for $39.99 in 2009 before they changed the formula. That was a bottle of sex that didn't cost me much.

My kinda fellas. I’m partial to Highland Park, if my avi didn’t already give that away. It’s less peaty than the Islays but still has a healthy bit of it plus a really well-balanced and complex set of flavors.

That said, the others you guys mentioned are really good as well. McCallan always surprised me in that I usually don’t go for sweeter flavors and wouldn’t expect to like it as it’s aged in sherry casks, but I actually do. It hits a good note. Oban has an interesting balance as well.
