Randy Smith (channel 3, Chattanooga) reported that Hamilton's list had Cowher, Kiffin, Gruden, Davis, Leach and Brewster.

I would take any of those guys, except Leach. Don't get me wrong Leach is a great coach. Just don't think he is the right guy.

My gut says Kiffin, my heart says Gruden

I have no doubt that Kiffin will one day be a decent HC, but I have big issues with his inexperience.

I am not a Brewster fan. I surely do not want him to have the keys to the UT football program!

I cant help but wonder if Hamilton is lurking on the board just laughing at us, and our ridiculous speculations and "sources." If I were in his shoes, I know I would.

It would be tempting not to lurk and check out message boards. However, I hope for our sake that he is busting his behind to get us an excellent head coach.

Not a bad list...All except Brewster, Any coach who loses to FAU can not be given the keys to the UT kingdom...Ever

Whats wrong?...You don't like Sargent Slobber? :eek:lol:

I haven't liked him since the day he made a fool of himself after his team lost to the Titans due to a controversial call. I can never see or hear the word "ludicrous" without seeing his face.

I love the prospect of getting Cowher but it simply is not going to happen. I guarantee you he has no interest in coaching college football. John Gruden I can see though.

It would be a huge mistake to hire Brewster. I don't think he could recruit well or compete in the SEC.
