It was just Hamilton acknowledging the PR situation. If anything, that article should be a comfort since it lets you know that Hamilton realizes how bad things have gotten.
oh, i agree, he definitely didn't want 100,000 people booing when #8 took the field.
but more than that, and i'm sure these kind of conversations take place more often than we know, why make it public knowledge the conversation even took place? and yes, i understand MH didn't make the decision on who should be the qb......nor did he 'tell' fulmer who he should or shouldn't start....
to me, it rang of a guy not only acknowledging the PR aspect of it, but also someone that is starting the CYA process. that's just me. for as long as a MH has been here, he's always painted the rosiest of pictures.....now, he's all the sudden acknowledging how bad it is? i guess he just had this revelation?
i look at it like this, how would i react if were Fulmer? i don't think i'd like it.
have the conversation, yes, make it public, no.
