Hamilton says contract extension for Fulmer

I was talking to my dad and he said that he read that Hamilton felt like Fulmer deserved a contract extension. Can anyone confirm this?

This was released before the bowl game. As far as I know we are still waiting for the official announcement. I am still in favor of paddle balls in lieu of pay.

I read something about it this morning, but they said no pay raise to go with contract extension. Still don't know if'n it's true tho.

His pay should be like getting paid on commission. Pay is due if you produce, no pay if don't produce. Over the past few years he sure aint produced like a a top paid echelon coach should. Better yet, lets get the U-Haul loaded and say good ridance!

He dosen't need another extension. He's already here for too much longer. It's going to be nearly impossible to ever get rid of his fat :shaking2: now.

How I would love to see an incentive based salary pay for coaches, they would never let it happen. The unlimited amount on salaries will have to be capped or we are all in for a bad era in college football. Alabama just raised the bar and what is next? We are going to see higher ticket prices to compensate for coaching salaries. No extention, no raise for CPF and staff. Hamilton said he would have 2 football sec champs in 10 years of his admin- that means two in a row to get that done. I just dont see that happening.

you should be. to have a football program that seems to get off by just having a winning record is nothing to be proud of. it is actually a slap in the face of our used to be great tradition.

I do not cheer for UT only because they win. My love for the univ. goes deeper than that. I attended games in 88 and in 05 when we weren't winning. I watched JM blow it to bama for years before CPF finally winning in 95.

If you're only reason to follow UT is for wins then I understand your attitude.

i didn't say i wasn't going to root for them. i have stated i will attend no more games except to tailgate and i will give nomore donations whatsoever. i'am embarrassed for our football team. we are a joke, i'll still root for them eventhough we lose to every good team we play, and the fact we are the 7th or 8th best team in the sec. not to mention the fact our AD doesn't have a clue and continues to reward phi for a bad job well done.

Mike Hamilton - hires Bruce Pearl, updates Neyland Stadium, builds a basketball practice facility, builds a new aquatic facility, raises more money than any other AD at UT, etc....

Good idea, let's get rid of him. I'm sure he's the reason UT football only won 9 games this year.

Well if a pay raise and or contract extension are annouced expect hell to break loose up in here.

don't mention the fact that he let phil run the football program into the ground and he got alot of that money he raised by screwing grandfathered ticketholders out of there tickets or made them pay a outrageous donation. he's a swell guy.:thumbsup:
