he should have had a good idea who the next coach should be after the ucla game. i'm beginning to think they should bring dickey back. we will more than likely lose most of our recruits.

How do you know he doesnt already have his coach? Just waiting till the end of the season.

Look at it like this the longer we wait the more likely it will be a pro coach (gruden).I don't care if it takes till mid-January to get that scenario done!

The longer the better.:good!:

He has time, remember signing day isn't untill Feb. All he needs is someone in place before registration for the spring semester to keep some of the kids that will be enrolling early from going elsewhere.

IMO, if he had already made a hire after only a week and half of the job being vacant I would worry that he didn't shop around enough before making a decision. I like the fact that hes willing to take his time and make sure he gets it right. I have confidence that he is gonna make a great hire that we can all get excited about.

this isnt madden. you dont choose your next HC as soon as you fire the last one. IT's a very long and timely process

I know where you're coming from because I was thinking the same thing earlier today...but then it hit me that's it's only been a week...

I wouldn't be surprised if he already has a serious #1 that he is waiting to announce...but maybe he's holding out to appease the pro-Fulmer crowd....believe it or not there are quite a few out there

We can't do anything right now while the season is still going on. But i dont think that we can wait till mid-january either.

We probably will not know who the next UT head coach is until December at the earliest. And if its an NFL coach or a college coach with a team in a bowl game it may not be until January.

It's been 8 days. I would rather lose 10 spots in the rivals standings for 1 year and get the RIGHT coach than to stay at #6 and get the wrong coach.
