Well, it's roughly 2 weeks from launch figured a major game in a series that has sold 25mil+ deserved a topic.

I'll definitely be going for it.

i like halo, but am not a fanatic like alot of people are. i'll probably play this eventually just because of the hype it's been getting.

I've never played a halo game in my life. I was considering checking this one out, but I feel like I've missed alot. I don't know anything about the halo universe.

The best part about these games are the co-op features. Not just the main campaign but firefight is a complete blast.

Seems like Bungie put a lot of effort into their last game in the series.

I'm going to get it mainly because I have about 10 games I want to trade in and I should get enough credit for a copy.

I was pretty disappointed in ODST though....that was meh.

Good choice not to get it. I'm pumped about being able to play firefight still on Reach with all of the new weapons and maps.

I used to be a HUGE Halo junkie on the original Xbox. We would use our briefing projector and pin up a bed sheet when I was in the Navy for 4 player tourney's.

I haven't played since in quite some time though. I was at a fork in the road when they decided to launch Halo 3 on the Xbox 360. Honestly, I was really excited about it only to find out I would have to buy a new console and at the time they were @ $400 not including all the parts you needed (fans, wi-fi, HD player). Then the RROD started happening...

I decided to go with the PS3 because you got more bang for the buck and haven't looked back since. I do fire up the Xbox every now and then to play, but it's hard transitioning from Blue-Ray games to Xbox games.

The funny thing is I can still remember when Halo and Halo 2 came out and I thought, man these graphics are sick!!

I haven't played any of the Halo games since then...are they as good as the originals? Is the Master Chief still tearing it up?
