After getting through my anger, this thread is 100% correct. Breaking their hearts is many times better than beating them by 40.

I wonder when Vandy's DVD of the first 3 quarters will come out?

Listened to the first half with my Vandy grad brother and then had to go. If I call anytime in the next week he probably won't speak to me again for six months. They really can't stand it when we win close ones against them.

You're killing me, tonight, HV. You KNOW that you were sorting through your coaching prospect list halfway through the 3rd (and cursing your decision on the Patrick deal).

Most teams feel kicking a late 4th quarter FG to go ahead would be enough to crush the hearts of their opponents. I like the way our guys took it step or two further by letting them get that long kick return, a controversial 3rd down penalty for a first down, and then instead of blocking their last minute field goal, we just let it go slightly wide left.

That's why they're Vanderbilt and we're Tennessee. VU=Cliff Barnes. UT=JR Ewing. There are few things more enjoyable than breaking their pathetic black and gold hearts.

Yeah, we won. And a win is a win.

If the same UT team we saw today makes the trip to Lexington.....

...get ready for GatorTroll1.

go vols.

Yea... just a little, but after my Vandy friends (and even a few just anti-Vol types) came out of their caves following our loss to Vandy in '05, they earned it!
