Dunno, he said we put together an "unbelievable package." Sounds like we did what we could.

REALLY? Gundy Played QB at Okie St; was/is Never leaving the Cowboys. ANY AD W.A. S. would have been able to surmise that fact, and Instead of offering him the Job, Asked him to Recommend someone for the job. Gundy should have never been able to turn Tennessee down and brag about it; which he is . Total Incompetence on UT's Part. ASININE.

Hopefully now that AD White is running the show, the days of Tennessee bufoonery, and stepping on our own Johnson's is over.

Cue ""Yakety Sax"
And our Johnson had a couple of nicknames...One being "Hamilton"

Say what you want ... he did not sign on the dotted line ... therefore unbelievable is a fabrication of significant magnitude.
So, you are telling he opted to stay in Stillwater, over an unbelievable offer. I am calling him on this one .... if Stillwater came close to matching it ... it was NOT unbelievable and he stayed every time.
I'm not a Gundy fan. I think he is good, maybe even very good. I just never liked is persona. Reminds me of a slick car lot salesman.

In my opinion going back a second time after being shafted the first time reflects incompetence. How many times are you going to allow a shyster to put on over on you?

What these coaches don't get...Better to have a HC job that pays 3 mil for 15 years, than a job that pays 7 mil for 3 years. It only takes a couple of busts at a couple of those 7 mil jobs and you end up working another 15 anyway for 450K

Never understood why we were after him. What has he won?

Considering he was recruiting to Stillwater as the number 3/4 program in the region, he has won quite a bit. Grundy ain't no dummy. He knew the grass was greener to stay put. He just had to use other interests to keep his relevence with OK ST.

Yes it would be great if somebody had the fortitude to call out Mullet publicly for it!!! Of course Chris Low won’t never call anything like it is. Thes softy media people are pathetic. Why can’t people just say things matter of fact instead of beating around the bush?!?!... It’s ridiculous.
