Gun control debate (merged)

Let's be honest, is anyone here afraid of the left taking their guns away? They are a bunch of girly men that wouldn't know how to fight if they had to and the military is mostly conservatives. So who is going to do it, the police?

Those girly men have taken control of governments, purged and/or coerced military and police ranks, and done exactly that. People retained weapons only by concealing them.

Marxists are openly elected to and supported in public office. An entire political party provides cover for violent Marxist groups across the nation. To think it can’t happen here is naïve.

The left is getting rid of them, so no...

Hey I think you're on to something

Yep, the 742. I've got the short carbine model. I also have two magazines. I'm double bad.

That's awesome...his is actually the carbine as well. I didn't think to make the distinction up front because I thought those to be on the rarer side. It's still around but probably hasn't been fired in 30 years.

My dad deer hunts with it every year. It hasn't been fired in 30 years either. :)

I always love it when you point out to a gun grabber that cars kill FAR more people each year than guns and their response is invariably “Well cars aren’t DESIGNED to kill people”. I guess that is a HUGE relief to people killed by cars. I guess they are somehow “less dead” than someone killed by a gun. 3CDA44CA-A571-4818-B021-F36FB21D1020.gif

I disagree; it’s vey smart when you’re a prohibitionist. We have to stop understating the danger these people pose to our rights and stop referring to them as snowflakes, idiots and such. They know exactly the incremental game plan necessary to eventually disarm the people.

Josh Sugarmann was the guy who, decades ago, devised the plan to confuse the general public by correlating semi-auto AR and AK cosmetics with full auto military weapons.

Here’s the plans evolution: take out that ownership base then acknowledge those ‘weapons of war’ account for FAR fewer deaths than semiauto pistols, then go after them. Then we’ll find out even common hunting calibers are FAR more lethal than the lowly ‘assault rifle’ calibers(!). Perhaps then the “even many gun owners agree you don’t need an assault rifle to hunt” will wtfu and realize what useful tools they’ve been.

Let’s stop underestimating these people before then. They’re intelligent, calculating, and have patience.
When someone has been working on a plan for 40 years kinda makes the term gun grabber get worn out.

This guy up for the head of the ATF is dangerous. If he gets in, I’m sure they’ll get legislation passed that will make criminals out of most gun owners.

Your absolutely right this guy is dangerous and should have been removed from his job years ago! He has no respect for American gun owners or the 2nd Amendment.
