It’s hard for me to take quacks like A.schift seriously when he’s sponsoring a bill that would put 140-160k people out of a job and has no way to replace $50b in the economy for the sake of a end run on the 2a.

Pretty much reeks of virtue signalling. The idea of holding any manufacturer liable for deliberate misuse of a product is absurd even on it's face. Just for a recent and local example there is literally nothing about this idea that wouldn't also include holding the car manufacturer liable for this incident.

Not "sort of/kind of" comparable...the same thing. Criminal misuse of an inanimate object. And we haven't even started the discussion about the Constitutional issues involved with leveling liability issues associated with an enumerated right.

Conveniently (or deliberately) left out of the Sandy Hook lawsuit reference is that case entirely hinges on if a State law regarding marketing could be applied against the manufacturer.

Sometimes you have to laugh at stupidity or else you just might lose your mind with so much of it going on today. Lucky he fell the way he did.

I can relate to the kid. I have a 20 gauge bolt action clip I got in the early 80s for doing some work for a man. Was crossing inbetween a barbed wire fence dove hunting when it went off.
Had the butt on my right thigh and barrel pointing towards the sky. Bruised the chit out of my leg and was the last time I did that. Lol
