Gun control debate (merged)

And still waiting on you to answer the questions posed to you specifically a couple of days ago.

I will need to take some time on my computer at work to respond to those. It is too difficult to do on an iPhone. I will try to do that tomorrow morning.

Unlike your wonderful party who wants to force everyone to have babies, but as soon as they have the babies and can't afford to care for them, you call them "freeloaders" and want to refuse to provide them any services. Can't have it both ways, buddy.

Wow

Oh, I know you won't since you won't have any good answers. And will continue to ignore them.

I mean, it took LG about a year and a half to recognize the Heller decision. (you might want to look that one up before going further in this conversation)

Without disclosing what I do for a living, I would not need to look that up.

The last time I checked swimming pools weren't a danger to my family or children unless I chose to take them to the pool. There is a legal term for that, it is called "assumption of the risk". The difference between swimming pools and guns is that I assume the risk if I choose to take myself or family to the pool, but I have no choice if I am in public and some gun nut decides to open fire thinking he is "defending" himself.

No one opens fire on a group of innocents because they think they are "defending themselves". Real classy how you keep referring to gun owners as "right wing Rambos" who "want to shoot anything that moves". You are trying to take guns away from the wrong people.

You will never get criminals to follow the law because they don't respect the law.

Good luck trying to get people's guns. Very few people would participate in that government buy back program, and I know I wouldn't.

I get really tired of the argument that we shouldn't try to do anything to address the issue because it won't matter. Good thing you people weren't the ones trying to end slavery or get women or minorities the right to vote.

Conservatives preach self reliance, we have your party that encourages promiscuity and dependence upon the government, that's how you maintain your base. As far as elections go your party has lost an unprecedented Thousand plus seats including governorships nationwide, your faux outrage is funny but we already a liberal attorney to laugh at, check out my new bumper sticker guys..😎

No, we shouldn't add more laws against guns because the government doesn't have a right to take them (2A) and because the only people they would affect are responsible gun owners.

Real cute comparing this to slavery and voting rights. People owing guns is not a violation of human rights. You aren't giving rights, you are trying to take them away.

My right to self defense with whatever I can put in hand isn't debatable. My ability to protect myself predates government, your claims are invalid.

Democrats propose federal gun buyback | TheHill

"Although no one piece of legislation will eliminate all gun violence, this bill will get guns off the streets and keep them out of the hands of people who wish to cause harm,” Payne said. "If we can get one gun off the street, if we can save one life, then we have to take action.”

If allowing a law abiding citizen to carry a fire arm can prevent just one life from being taken, then would it be worth it to have them carry? We have to take action.

See how that works?

Let's just do away with all gun laws and go back to the 1800's when everyone was carrying a gun or two.

Who had the bright idea to let women vote anyway?
