What does it matter how many guns someone owns? You only have two hands, and shooting two handed is a waste of time. I know because I tried. Not sure why you're so hung up on that. I also don't get what a waiting period is supposed to accomplish. Look at San Bernardino. CA law requires a ten day wait. CA limits certain weapons and mag capacities. CA is working towards IDs and registration just to buy ammo. Did it prevent anything? I went to an LA news site after that shooting. I counted 8 homicides just in the "related stories" at the bottom of the article. All gang related in Compton, Watts, etc. Why aren't CAs strict gun laws stopping those shootings? How are there so many homicides in Chicago when you can't even possess a handgun there? Why aren't criminals following the law?

Bnhunt, I don't feel comfortable with you roaming free in society and believe that you and your ideas are a danger to my family. Since there is nothing specific in the Constitution that says "bnhunt shall remain free," I believe that the Founding Fathers did not intend for you to do so. Therefore, I will write my representatives advocating for your immediate imprisonment.

Its simple. Gun control supporters are mostly morons. They believe every mythology, every inflated and twisted statistic and every insinuation coming from a democrats mouth. They pretty much reflect that in other areas of politics as well where democrats lie their respective arses off with made up bs. Anyone that thinks a law will prevent a criminal intent on committing a criminal act is a pure d moron. Gun control loons are nothing but mindless brainless shills for a party in search of more and more power and the destruction of more and more liberty in every facet of American life. It only begins with gun control. Without the 2nd amendment every other effort to destroy freedoms becomes infinitely easier. I don't understand how some folks that appear to be otherwise halfway intelligent can be so abysmally stupid.

I'll answer the question: because California's gun laws as well as federal gun laws are not strict enough.

I agree with you - our country stopped being great when we "elected" the moron in 2000.

Same people that say you can't deport 11 million illegal aliens think you can control 500 million guns. Its incredible! That ship has sailed. Way to many guns to have any hope of controlling them now so stop wasting our time and deal with the situation.
